Nina Katchadourian (b. 1968, Stanford, California) is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans video, performance, sound, sculpture, photography, and public projects. Research plays a strong role in Katchadourian’s work and humor is often used as an artistic strategy. Much of her work is inspired by mundane and overlooked elements of everyday life. Her work has been widely exhibited, including at the Venice Biennale (2015 and 2026); MASS MoCA (2008 and 2016); MoMA (2016); The Metropolitan Museum of Art (2017); The Morgan Library & Museum (2023); and The National Nordic Museum (2025). She is a Clinical Professor on the faculty of New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Katchadourian is represented by Catharine Clark Gallery and Pace Gallery.
Nina Katchadourian will discuss a selection of projects from the last 30 years, including her works included in the exhibition "In Minor Keys" in this year's Venice Biennial: Seat Assignment(2010- 2021) and The Recarcassing Ceremony(2016).
